Hello again everyone. I just want to thank you for making this game fun. I also want to thank the host for all his hard work. Every one of you played a part in my getting to the final two, and that fact is not lost on me, so thank you.
Coming into this game, my goal was to be a silent threat. I didn’t want a leadership position, because I knew that would make me a target. I wanted to scheme and plot without people actually really knowing that I was scheming and plotting. I was put on a strong tribe, and I knew my best bet was to solidify my place in a majority alliance, and then lay low for a bit and let some of the others take the reigns. After the merge, we had a numbers advantage and a strong alliance. But I never felt completely secure with that group, and I knew the time would come that I would have to come out and make a big power play. That time came when Angie was voted out. I was the one who approached Gregg and Jeff about making a move to knock out one of the power players, and I think we can all agree that it was perhaps the biggest move of the entire game.
Unlike my final two opponent, I’m not going to sit here and act like I never told a lie. I did. On more than one occasion. I certainly don’t like to lie, but it is a part of the game, and I only did it when I felt that it was truly necessary for me in order to advance.
I’m proud of the way I played, and I do believe that I played a strong and solid game. I would be honored to have your vote as the winner of Survivor: Palau. But if I don’t end up winning, I’ll still shake your hand, and congratulate Katie, because I think she’s a great person and a good player as well.
Thanks again for your questions, and for a great game! I had a blast!
Ibrehem
